Growth ring produce distinct markings on all surfaces. Working Properties: Works easily. Takes glue, stain and polish well. The timber is available in up to 300mm wide board these boards are often sapwood only and are clear of knots. Physical Properties: The growth rings are conspicuous and when machined it has a satin-like appearance. Liable to surface checking. Durability: Moderately durable.
