An extensive range of
temperate hardwoods and softwoods are specially selected for Thorogoods and
sold as either sawn or machined to order.
Great care is
taken in selecting and cutting our timber and we have gained an unrivalled
reputation for our hardwood.
High quality French Oak is
stocked together with square edged North American hardwoods and waney-edged
Pennsylvanian Cherry and Black Walnut - all ideally suited to flooring,
furniture or joinery.
Our very experienced buying team
makes regular visits to mills in North America and France to continue
improving our stock in order that our customers constantly receive the
highest quality timber.
Joinery softwoods are stocked
from tried and tested scandinavian sawmills with a long-standing reputation
for producing sawn timber of a consistent grade and texture.
All our hardwood and softwood is stored at Ardleigh under
cover in a dry environment to preserve its look and ensure no unnecessary
moisture enters the wood. |
