Thorogood’s quest for better knows no bounds. Our wood buyers personally visit mills all over the world, selecting only the best timber – we never compromise on quality.
Like a certain famous Belgian beer, we pride ourselves on being “reassuringly expensive”. That’s not to say our timber products don’t represent excellent value for money – they’re just not cheap.
As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for - premium timber is harder wearing, looks better, ages better and is easier to work with. Given the choice, we firmly believe most customers would feel this unrivalled quality is worth paying for.
To us, timber isn’t simply a commodity that gets bought in bulk, stacked high and sold cheap, timber deserves better. It’s no exaggeration to say our wood is the best money can buy and this consistency of supply will never change.
