The Thorogood Promise
We take timber very seriously.
Others may scoff, but we truly believe that our products are special and that our customers deserve the best.
We promise to only buy the best timber we can. For every species that we deal in, for every pack we buy, we will do everything possible to ensure that when we put our name to it, we can rest easy in the knowledge that it was the best that we could find.
We commit to store all of our timber the way that it’s meant to be stored, so that we can be sure that it remains top quality. This means no kiln dried timber outside under tarpaulins, it’s not the right way to do things and it’s not the way we want to work.
We swear that any machining we do will be completed to the highest standard - if it isn’t good enough, we won’t send it. We will always do our best to help you meet deadlines if we can and we will always carry out any work you give us promptly, no matter whether the job is big or small.
We guarantee that we will hold ourselves up to the standards outlined here and will always do whatever we can to improve ourselves on the rare occasions that we fall short. We will be our own harshest critics and we will never rest on our laurels, but strive to be the best timber merchant that you have ever dealt with. Scout’s honour.
