Bespoke Wooden Flooring at Milsoms
Milsoms is a brand with a distinctive style and for their recent restaurant refurbishment it was clear that they were after something out of the ordinary; wide boards with a square edge and very few knots which could be finished with a rustic effect.
The expert knowledge available at Thorogood timber meant that we quickly identified the best candidate for the job. Southern Yellow Pine, a North American softwood species that yields long, wide and clean boards which are easy to oil or stain.
Using special relief grooves on the underside to minimise the possibility of movement, and with the same demanding quality standards we use for all of our timber, our team of expert craftsmen machined the wood into beautiful flooring.
The customer then stained and fitted the floor on-site using face fixings to achieve the traditional look they were after, a perfect solution to the original brief.
