Here at Thorogood, we always strive to provide our customers with the highest quality timber and the most innovative services, but we felt like we weren’t really living up to these standards when it came to our digital presence. That’s why we’re extremely excited to introduce the new look Thorogood!
Building Our Brand
We’ve always had a really strong sense of identity when it came to our standing as one of the UK’s premium suppliers of high quality wood for discerning customers, and we also consider ourselves to be pretty knowledgeable when it comes to timber, so we’ve carefully crafted our new website to reflect just that.
From in-depth factsheets on the vast range of hardwood and softwood timber species we stock, to expert information and advice on everything from cladding to machining and moulding, this is where you’ll be able to access everything we think you’d like to know. If there’s anything missing that you’d like us to cover, please let us know and we’ll do our best to include it.
We pride ourselves on being just that little bit different from our competitors. We’ve been accommodating our customers’ every request since 1963, from regular sawn timber to unusual woods and rare cuts you won’t find anywhere else.

As online habits and customer needs have changed, it’s important to us as a progressive, forward-thinking business that our online presence reflects the service and experience our diverse client base receives from us in our day-to-day dealings. Our new website has been designed to be a far more intuitive, visual experience that hopefully gives visitors a much better feel for our premium timber products and services – however, it’s no substitute for paying us a visit and seeing it up close!
